Project overview

Treasure Boxes is a South Australian not-for-profit dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children. The organisation provides practical essentials and vital support to families in need, with the broader goal of reducing the number of children experiencing severe disadvantage in the community.

Purple Giraffe was engaged to help Treasure Boxes build brand recognition, increase partnerships, strengthen agency relationships, boost social media engagement, attract sponsorships, and ultimately grow financial donations.

The challenges of this partnership included the need to deliver high-quality documentation and marketing outputs within tight timelines, manage a wide range of priorities, and ensure that all communications reflected the organisation’s sensitive and emotive cause. Purple Giraffe worked collaboratively with the Treasure Boxes team to prioritise tasks and deliver consistent, professional assets across all channels.

The key deliverables from Purple Giraffe included:

  • Content Creation: Development of brand story, corporate partnerships brochure, sponsorship brochure, and speaker engagement proposal.
  • Public Relations: Management of the Lucas Sanders Ultra Marathon fundraising campaign, media pitching for Treasure Boxes stories (e.g. Channel 7 Adelaide’s Ray of Sunshine), and creation of an ambassador strategy.
  • Website Development: Updates and new page builds for campaigns such as Lucas Sanders’ run and Bright Jumper Day, as well as ad hoc refreshes.
  • Social Media: Regular content creation and posting to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Brand Assets: Design of new pull-up banners, branded corporate documents, digital and print materials, and branded folders.
  • Photography: Organisation and management of a photoshoot to update the image suite, covering the warehouse, assets, team, and board.

Outcomes

The work delivered by Purple Giraffe provided Treasure Boxes with:

  • Stronger Brand Presence: A refreshed, modern, and professional suite of brand assets suitable for both community and corporate audiences.
  • Improved Engagement: Relevant and consistent content across platforms, supporting growth in social media followers and stakeholder recognition.
