Project overview
Clarke Energy, a global leader in distributed energy solutions, engaged Purple Giraffe for the seventh consecutive year to elevate their sponsorship presence at the Diggers & Dealers Mining Conference in Kalgoorlie. As the Cocktail Party Sponsor, Clarke Energy sought to stand out from the crowd with a bold and memorable activation.
The brief was unconventional: create a video completely unrelated to Clarke Energy’s core business, designed purely to spark conversation and ensure they were the sponsor everyone remembered.
The objective was to design, coordinate, and execute an activation that would:
- Capture attention and generate word-of-mouth buzz at Diggers & Dealers
- Showcase Clarke Energy’s willingness to innovate and think differently
- Reinforce Clarke Energy’s sponsorship presence at both the cocktail event and booth
- Use AI creatively to deliver a unique, high-quality, and unforgettable video experience
To achieve these goals, Purple Giraffe partnered with Creativa, a creative agency, to develop a 1-minute 30-second, AI-driven video that captivated attention, showcased Clarke Energy’s commitment to innovation, and entertained the conference attendees.
In addition to the video, Purple Giraffe designed physical activations, such as themed props and a vibrant booth installation, to bring the theme to life and fully immerse attendees in the experience.

Purple Giraffe successfully managed the activation, ensuring Clarke Energy’s sponsorship stood out and created a lasting impression. The results included:
