Welcoming OH! Marketing to the Tower

Welcoming OH! Marketing to the Tower

Purple Giraffe is proud to announce the acquisition of OH! Marketing, marking a strategic and exciting step forward in our continued national growth.

As part of this transition, OH! Marketing will rebrand to Purple Giraffe, formally establishing our presence in Queensland and expanding the capability we offer to businesses across Australia.

This acquisition is in line with our long-term strategic plan; to increase our reach while maintaining the personalised, partnership-driven approach that defines who we are.

Growing with purpose

Founded in Adelaide over a decade ago, Purple Giraffe was built on the belief that businesses deserve experienced, strategic marketing support without needing a full in-house team.

Two and a half years ago, we expanded west with the opening of our Perth office. Today, we are proud to extend our footprint to Brisbane, with our Queensland office located in Spring Hill, just a stone’s throw from the CBD.

This growth allows us to support more businesses across Australia through excellence in marketing.

A natural alignment of values

OH! Marketing, founded and led by Michelle O’Hara over the past ten years, has built a strong reputation for customer-focused marketing and meaningful client relationships. Michelle has nurtured the business with care, integrity and a clear commitment to client outcomes.

Importantly, both Purple Giraffe and OH! Marketing are values-driven organisations. We are customer-centric at our core. We prioritise long-term partnerships, operate with integrity and deeply value our teams – because we believe great marketing is built on strong relationships and empowered people.

This shared philosophy makes the integration both natural and strategic.

Michelle explains: “I’m excited for our clients and team to be part of a larger group, the opportunities that shall arise will be beneficial for all. I have no doubt the relationships shall blossom fruitfully.”

Michelle will continue supporting the business for the next three months to ensure a smooth and considered transition for clients, suppliers and the team.

Expanded capability for clients

For existing OH! Marketing clients, this next chapter provides access to the broader resources, strategic depth and established systems of a more mature, multi-state marketing consultancy.

Clients will now be able to draw on:

  • A larger team of marketing consultants and specialists
  • Expanded service offerings
  • National capability across multiple sectors
  • Proven strategic frameworks and implementation systems

While the name evolves, the commitment to personalised service remains unchanged, now strengthened by deeper resourcing and capability.

For Purple Giraffe clients, this represents continued growth and strengthened national presence.

Welcoming new Giraffes to the Tower

We are also delighted to welcome Lucy and Eltevino to the Purple Giraffe team. Joining us from OH! Marketing, they bring valuable experience and energy, and we are excited to have them become part of our Tower.

At Purple Giraffe, once you’re a Giraffe, you’re part of something bigger; a collaborative, values-led team focused on delivering meaningful results for our clients.

Lucy and Eltevino strengthen our capability and enhance the support we provide to businesses nationally.

Our national footprint

Purple Giraffe now operates across three locations:

Adelaide – our founding home
Perth – established in 2023
Brisbane – Spring Hill, Queensland

While our footprint is growing, our philosophy remains unchanged.

We partner with businesses to conceive, plan and implement marketing strategies as though we are their in-house team, we simply don’t sit in their office. We believe, if you win, we win.

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter and look forward to supporting even more Australian businesses as we continue to grow with purpose.
