Magain Real Estate Branding

Project overview

What began as a simple artwork request soon evolved into a complete brand transformation for Magain Real Estate, a South Australian business proudly serving the community since 1975.

After meeting with the Magain leadership team to discuss their brand vision and audience perception, it became clear that their existing logo and visual identity no longer reflected who they were or how they wanted to be seen.

Purple Giraffe identified that it wasn’t Magain who needed to fit their logo – it was the logo that needed to fit Magain. The challenge was to create a brand that felt authentic, confident, and connected, one that celebrated Magain’s strong reputation and people-first culture while setting a fresh direction for the future.

Purple Giraffe guided Magain through a strategic and creative rebrand that went beyond visuals to build a complete, living brand system. This included:

Brand Strategy and Foundations

  • Facilitating workshops with leadership and key stakeholders to uncover Magain’s purpose, values, tone, and market perception. From these sessions, a clear brand framework was developed covering vision, mission, values, and tone of voice.
  • Purple Giraffe also delivered new boilerplate copy and templates to ensure every communication, from agent profiles to social content – sounded unified and true to Magain’s voice.

Visual Identity

  • A new logo and colour palette were designed to honour Magain’s heritage while introducing a refined, modern aesthetic.
  • Comprehensive brand guidelines set direction for language, photography, and expression across every platform.
  • To support the launch, Purple Giraffe coordinated professional photoshoots to capture a cohesive, contemporary image of the Magain team.

Marketing Collateral & Roll out

  • The refreshed brand identity was rolled out across every touchpoint, including listing books, DL flyers, brochures, business cards, office signage, billboards, and digital displays.
  • Digital platforms were updated to reflect the new brand – from website banners to REA and Domain profiles, and social media templates.
  • The rebrand was introduced to the market through a coordinated social media campaign and launch communications.

Team Engagement

  • Internal sessions were held with the Magain team to introduce the new brand and guide adoption.
  • The rollout was managed in stages, aligning creative priorities and feedback across corporate, franchise, and office levels.

Outcomes

The rebrand re-established Magain Real Estate as a confident, contemporary, and community-minded South Australian brand that truly reflects who they are today.

Key outcomes included:

  • A revitalised brand identity that aligns with Magain’s values, heritage, and future vision.

  • A unified tone of voice across all marketing and internal communications, ensuring consistency and clarity.

  • A complete suite of brand assets spanning digital, print, and environmental applications.

  • Strong staff engagement and pride through collaborative workshops and clear brand direction.

Through collaboration and strategy, the project delivered more than a new look – it gave Magain Real Estate a renewed sense of purpose, presence, and personality.
