Magain Real Estate Branding

Project overview

Magain Real Estate has been proudly serving South Australians since 1975. With expertise across residential sales, property management, and commercial real estate, Magain is known as a trusted local advisor.

Magain Real Estate identified that their existing brand no longer reflected who they were or how they wished to be perceived. The old brand was dated and did not align with their values, their vision of themselves, or the perception they wanted to create in the market.

Purple Giraffe was engaged to facilitate a full rebrand, with the objective of delivering a fresh, contemporary identity that authentically represented Magain Real Estate and could be consistently applied across all areas of the business.

To achieve this, Purple Giraffe managed the development and rollout of a comprehensive new brand suite, covering:

Visual Identity

  • Creation of a new logo, brand colours, and brand guidelines.
  • Coordination of four professional photoshoots to capture unified, consistent images of the entire Magain team.

Marketing Collateral

  • Design and delivery of a wide range of materials including listing books, DL flyers, window cards, market reports, property brochures, catalogues, business cards, letterheads, and advertising assets such as bus shelter signage.

Public Relations and Internal Communications

  • Development of media release templates, media kits, and internal communication plans.
  • Hosting internal workshops to ensure staff engagement and adoption of the new brand.

Digital Marketing

  • Website updates and new banner designs for key platforms including REA and Domain.
  • Development of complete new social media tile templates and alignment of all profiles with the new brand.
  • Strategic social media content, including a launch campaign to introduce the refreshed brand to the market.

Merchandise and Assets

  • Production of branded items such as pens, uniforms, signboards, and magnets to reinforce the brand across all customer touchpoints.

Outcomes

The Magain Real Estate rebrand was successfully executed, creating a cohesive and modern identity that elevated their position both internally with the Magain team and in the public eye.  Key outcomes included:

  • Elevated Brand Presence: A revitalised identity that better reflects Magain’s values and vision, enhancing their reputation in the marketplace.
  • Comprehensive Collateral Suite: Delivery of a complete set of refreshed marketing materials and digital assets, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Staff Engagement and Training: Magain’s team was supported with workshops and resources to understand and apply the new brand, ensuring smooth adoption.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: The project demonstrated effective management of multiple stakeholders, balancing creative direction with client feedback throughout a staged, months-long rollout.
