We are so proud to have been awarded the Marketer of the Year at the 2018 Australian Women in Wine Awards last Friday at Quay in Sydney.
This award recognises excellence in implementing a marketing initiative, campaign or strategy.
It’s in moments like these that I like to take a moment to reflect on the decision to start up a small business. I won’t lie, and to many of you who also have your own business, it would be silly to say it’s all roses. Owning your own business is hard work and requires monumental commitment. However, my blood now runs purple and I wouldn’t spend my days doing anything else.
At Purple Giraffe we love working with other businesses to help them grow. It’s a privilege that we respect each and every day. We genuinely believe and live our motto – when you win, we win.

About the Australian Women in Wine Awards
The awards, held last Friday in Sydney at Quay Restaurant alongside the very first Women In Wine Symposium, are designed to acknowledge and reward the work of women in the Australian wine community, and other community leaders who champion equality and fairness for all sexes in the workplace.
