The next big step for your WA business

Purple Giraffe helping with WA grants

Looking to take that next big step and grow your local Western Australian business?

The Western Australian Government has launched the Small Business Growth Grants program to help local businesses like yours thrive.

Administered by the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), this program offers up to $10,000 in matched funding for established small businesses to access professional services that support growth, innovation, and new opportunities

What these grants support

The grants aim to help Western Australian small and medium businesses develop, grow, and expand. Many recipients use the funding for initiatives such as:

  • Business planning and financial health checks
  • Digital marketing, e‑commerce, export readiness, and tender preparation
  • Cybersecurity, market positioning, and more

This grant isn’t just about funding – it’s about strengthening WA’s local business ecosystem. Preference is given to applicants who work with locally based professional service providers, ensuring your growth supports other WA businesses too.

To qualify, your business simply needs the capacity to match the grant amount (up to $10,000) and a plan to use expert services to build capability in key areas.
